Sorrel is a delicious green that can be used fresh or cooked. It has a lemony flavor as lends itself to any dish that you would use lemon juice in. The succulent leaves can be cooked down to a sauce prized for serving over seafood. The plants are real survivors and extremely drought and cold hardy. If you don’t want it to spread keep the flower buds removed. The early spring leaves make a great addition to a fresh salad. Propagated by seed and by root division.
