Over the past 25 years I have grown hundreds of varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Below are a few that I consider very reliable. They are all open-pollinated heirlooms and have superb flavor!  To meet this standard, the variety needs to be very productive in our area here in Northern Indiana, tolerating both cool and hot, muggy summers, as well as drought (2012, 2016) and extremely wet (2014, 2015, 2016) weather conditions.
