Fall Planted Grains

THIS COLLECTION OF WINTER GRAIN VARIETIES ARE FROM MY GROW OUTS, PLANTED LAST FALL (OCTOBER 1st). SOME OF THESE ARE FACULTATIVE, WHICH MEANS THEY CAN BE EITHER SPRING OR FALL PLANTED. FOR THESE FACULTATIVE VARIETIES, YOU CAN SELECT SEED STOCK FROM EITHER MY SPRING OR FALL GROWOUT. THEY ARE THE SAME STRAINS; JUST ONE IS BEING SELECTED FOR WINTER ADAPTATION AND THE OTHER FOR SUMMER ADAPTATION. I HAVE ALSO ADDED 2 HULLESS BARLEY VARIETIES WHICH DID GREAT FOR ME AS FALL PLANTED AND I HAVE SANGASTE’ RYE.

I CAN NOT VERIFY THE WINTER HARDINESS IN AREAS COLDER THAN A ZONE 5b.

  • I do not ship outside the US , and I do not have quantities larger than the packet sizes listed.
